Mission Statement
To create Bay Area partnerships for industry, education, nonprofit, and governmental agencies by assisting these organizations through recruitment and professional development activities.
     
Our Work
The Peninsula Employment Group’s projects fall into three primary categories:  Educational Programs, Recruitment / Outreach, and Career Development.  We work with projects of all sizes and draw from a variety of resources in order to get the job done.

PEG has extensive experience with career development and transition projects having provided a wide variety of programs for diverse industries such as:

  • Coordinating job fairs, open houses, and targeted career recruitment events

Our services range from one-to-one counseling to group work, and also include career assessment.
We offer a range of topics including, but not limited to:  Resume Preparation, Interviewing/Negotiation Tips, Job Search Strategies, Making a Successful Career Change.  We also offer employer forums and internal job fairs.
About Ron Visconti
Ron Visconti has over 20 years of experience in several areas: 
education, government and nonprofit sector, and private industry.
He has co-authored
two books for
Crisp Publications:

Effective Recruitment Strategies and Rightful Termination.

He has also written numerous articles on employment / career development issues for several Bay Area newspapers.
He has been recognized for excellence in his field through a number of awards including 
Career Counselor of the Year
(California Career Guidance Association).
He founded and managed a nonprofit career development center, Career Education Center, for 18 years.  He also has taught many courses for several colleges in the Bay Area.  He was an adjunct faculty member at Notre Dame de Namur for 14 years. He has a MA in Adult Education from San Francisco State University, and a BA in Sociology from the University of San Francisco.
