The mission of Peninsula Employment Group, LLC:

To create Bay Area partnerships for industry, education, nonprofit, and governmental agencies by assisting these organizations through recruitment and professional development activities.

Ron Visconti is an actively engaged consultant through the Peninsula Employment Group, LLC, his consulting arm.

He is also the Executive Director of the newly formed, Phase2Careers, an organization devoted to assisting the  "Over 40" Worker in the Bay Area with finding new career opportunities through job search/career development workshops, networking / recruitment events, and special career presentations.

Ron Visconti, has over 25 years consulting experience in recruitment, career development, and training for both private and public agencies.

He has coordinated over 300 recruitment and career events and has overseen dozens of large-scale transition projects around the Bay Area.

For 18 years, he founded and managed a comprehensive nonprofit career center (Career Education Center) devoted to recruitment events, outplacement projects, career workshops and counseling.

He has taught at the college level at Notre Dame de Namur University for over 15 years in Human Services.  Additionally, he was a part-time instructor for the College of San Mateo.

He received MA in Adult Education from San Francisco State University and a BA in Social Sciences from University of San Francisco.

He has co-authored two management books for Thomson Learning (Effective Recruiting Strategies and Rightful Termination).  He was honored as Career Counselor of the Year by his peers of the California Career Development Association in 1990.

He maintains a strong commitment to the community through his voluntarism and work on a variety of boards/committees.
